Why use our network
Laser hair removal looks the same from the outside. But the device, the operator, and how they match your skin determine whether you get lasting results or waste your money.
We only match you with Texas-licensed estheticians at insured studios with documented laser certification. We confirm credentials before anyone joins the network. We drop providers who lose them.
Older alexandrite-only studios can cause burns or hyperpigmentation on darker skin, Fitzpatrick IV through VI. We route those clients to providers with Nd:YAG or diode devices that safely treat every skin tone.
Every match starts with a free in-person consultation. If the provider isn't a fit, tell us. We'll match you with someone else at no cost.
Your matched provider quotes you their actual price in your consult. We don't add a markup or charge you anything. We never collect payment for treatments.
Laser hair removal is permanent reduction, not removal. A good provider will tell you up front how many sessions your hair type and area actually need, and how much maintenance to plan for. So will we.
Every provider in our network is a San Antonio metro studio we've vetted in person. We're not a giant directory full of paid listings. We only refer to people we'd send our friends to.
Common questions
You submit a quick request: area, skin tone, anything else relevant. We match you with a licensed, insured laser hair removal provider in the San Antonio metro. They reach out the same business day with a free consultation. You work directly with the provider from there. There's no cost to you for the match.
No. The match is free, and the initial consultation with your matched provider is free. You only pay the provider directly if you decide to move forward with treatment.
Most clients describe it as a quick snap of a rubber band, not a burn. Modern devices include built-in cooling, and providers typically offer topical numbing cream for sensitive areas like the upper lip and Brazilian. The sensation is mild compared to waxing.
Most areas need 6 to 8 sessions spaced 4 to 8 weeks apart. Hormonal areas like the face and chin, and coarser hair on the back and chest, often need 8 to 10. Your matched provider will give you an honest estimate at your free consultation.
Yes. Providers in our network treat all Fitzpatrick skin types, I through VI. Where it matters, we match clients with darker skin tones to providers using Nd:YAG or diode lasers. These are safer for melanin-rich skin than older alexandrite-only devices. If you've been turned away elsewhere because of skin tone, request a match.
Laser targets pigment, so very light, gray, or white hair generally won't respond well. Dark blonde and red hair sometimes work, sometimes don't. Your matched provider will tell you that up front rather than sell you sessions that won't deliver.
Shave 24 hours before. Don't wax or pluck. Avoid sun exposure for 2 weeks before and after, because tanned skin can't be treated safely. Skip retinoids on the treatment area for a week prior. Your matched provider will send a full prep checklist once you book.
IPL, or Intense Pulsed Light, is a broad-spectrum light. Laser is a single, focused wavelength. IPL costs less per session but is less effective and less safe for darker skin tones. For permanent reduction across all skin types, a true laser like Nd:YAG, diode, or alexandrite is the right tool. Every provider in our network uses true lasers, not IPL.
